Arnotts may have closed the Arnotts Project store in Jervis St shopping centre (sniff) but all is not lost.
New Look are taking over the top two floors of the store and, to lift the spirits of savvy shoppers who will most certainly miss this store, Arnotts have rolled out their new spring/summer 2010 collection in their Henry St flagship store.
And to smooth over the failure of the Project, they've added lots of new labels.
Desigual (pictured above) have a new rich colour, pattern and shape collection of bright print skirts, stylish and edgy shorts, perfect summer dresses that will definitely spill safely into evening wear.
BCBG MaxAzaria label's sister BCBG Generation is all yours this season and, if you haven't already seen the graphic floral prints from the LA label laundry by Shelli Segal in the window, then you're in for a bright treat.Kate Moss for Longchamps Kate Moss's handbag collection for french company Longchamp are bound to knock a few heads off the Irish fashionistas where you can pick up the absolutely fabulous signature 'Glastonbury' (€450).

If you've ever considered trying your hand at styling but haven't a clue where
to start, we've found just the workshop for you.
There's a lot more to styling than glamour, fashion shows and socializing with
celebrities. It's a cut-throat industry and it takes dedication, hard work and
know-how to succeed. This is why D-Light Studios are holding a one-day
styling workshop next Saturday March 13.
The workshop will be hosted by one of Ireland's hottest styling talents; Roxanne Parker. Roxanne is the style critic for Social and Personal magazine and
her work has graced the pages of publications such as Prudence, Image, Life
and Irish Tatler. She also writes for the Irish Independent and is a
regular guest on Expose, The Afternoon Show and Ireland AM.
This one-day workshop is a wonderful opportunity to get inside information on
the fashion industry and the highly skilled realms of commercial styling.
You'll learn about the business of styling, the difference between fashion and
commercial styling, trend prediction, personal shopping, test shoots, creating
mood boards for magazine shoots and how to approach clients for work.
For details, or to book a place on the workshop, contact the studio manager at
086 023 3247 or email aoife@d-lightstudios.com

While winter dressing definitely has its charms, the novelty eventually wears off leaving us longing for the temperatures to rise so that we can ditch the woolies and the heavy winter coat.
Enter Awear.
The shop has just launched their spring/summer collection which is inspired by retro Americana and full of pretty dresses, neutral colour palettes, floral prints, fringing, ruffle minis and denim, lots of denim. According to Awear’s Wendy Duggan, denim is the biggest trend
for the summer.
Our favourite way to introduce a little bit of denim
into your look is with the denim shirt. Celebs such as Alexa Chung and
the Olsens have already been spotted in what looks set to be a wardrobe
essential this season.
Layer it over a pretty dress to take you through
the spring to summer transition or, for the more daring, team with
another of this season’s must have items – leather shorts. Awear have this
great version which, at €28, won’t break the bank.
The ever stylish Miss Chung in a faded denim shirt. The rolled up sleeves add just the right amount of nonchalence to her look. Awear also have this vintage inspired denim jacket which is one of the most versatile items you could invest in this summer (though in fairness, at €30 it's not exactly an investment). Team with a little neckscarf as a nod to the 1950s or dress it down with a check shirt for a touch of rodeo chic.
Now all we need is for the sun to hurry up and show its face again.... Floral and denim dress €40
Awear have also just announced that they will be stocking make-up brand Gosh in twenty one stores nationwide from February 15. Prices range from €7 to €19. We're loving their nail polish in delicious candy shades. Click here to check out AWear's website. Sad news shoppers.
After three years of fashion filled, concept driven fun, Circus Store
in the Powerscourt Centre will be closing its doors for the last time
on Sunday the 7th of February.
While this news brings a tear to our eyes, we can’t help but find
ourselves somewhat consoled by the fact that the store is having a huge
sale with 60% off all stock until Sunday 7th Feb at 5 p.m.
That means 60% off labels such as b Store, Eley Kishimoto, Henrik Vibskov, Poltock & Walsh, KTZ and Carin Wester. Nice!
There’s also two €10 rails, vintage shoes and sunglasses for €5 and all
denim is €50.

So, without further a do, get yourself down to Circus to
say hello, and goodbye. Powerscourt Townhouse 59 South William Street Dublin 2 Ireland

Check out the Christian Dior collection above - the fine fabric, the excessive embellishment, the intricate details, the mouth-watering colour palettes....if only it wasn’t just a TAD out of our budget.
