Bloody hell but it's bargaintastic out there at the moment, I feel like a coupon crazed housewife! I've blogged some fantastic discounts recently Topshop did a 20% off week, then BT2's had a 40% off weekend and I'd only just written about the 25% off Warehouse discount day when a lovely friend sent me a 20% off Warehouse code.

All the big brands do a friends & family event in the run up to Christmas where if your beloved sis/ cousin/ annoying neighbour works in say Topshop, you too can have her discount! Said Lovely Friend works nowhere near Warehouse but somehow got her mitts on the discount which I'll pass on here:

Just print out the flyer and pop into Warehouse or use the code 'FRIEND09' on the website

Shushhhhhhh. You didn't hear it from me...

There's always a couple of trends every season that I hate hate hate and then with an inevitable momentum and a certain amount of chagrin I surrender to the silliness. Jumpsuits are my AW09 hate hate hate which I'm starting to love, throw on said jumpsuit & heels and go! Obviously there are a lot of fashion rules to obey if you are going to attempt to rock a jumpsuit, a body like Actress Anita Briem would be a nice start but I'm at least hoping to channel Ms Briem rather than Lily Allen

Eek! The colour, the fabric, the hair, it's just hideous. I've been searching for a js that I could actually wear without the boyfriend crying with laughter (not an easy find, the boyf, a professional geek, does not do fashion) and I've come across some horrific ones, I meanwtf was the designer behind this bad boy thinking:

I actually really like Awear as a label but harem pants, batwing sleeves, 80's embellishment all in a jumpsuit is just too much for one piece. Despite my misgiving should you feel the urge you can buy it here for €50 I've been trawling the interweb for suitable candidates and I've narrowed it down to these two:

Although quite clearly I don't have the arse for number 2 if fashion demands give me 3 weeks on crackers and we'll work something out. Number 1 is €39 and number 2 is €68. I'll let you know how I get on next week, though whether or not I actually post a picture of me in a jumpsuit if entirely in the balance.

If you still have doubts about the power of the jumpsuit just channel the undisputed king of the jumpsuit, Elvis

Ever since Kate Moss was spotted wearing a gorgeous shaggy white fur coat a couple of months ago I've been toying with the idea of buying one, obviously it would have to be fake but I just love the idea of being so toasty warm!

I really like the way she's styled it with the studded top, skinny black pants and oversized patent clutch, it's a basic dinner with friend look but with a ridiculously fun coat. But would it just look ridiculous in rainy Dublin on a Friday night?

The closest match I've found is this one on boohoo.com which at £15 (€17) is a total steal.

So major style lapse or fun frivolity?

Meet Jessie and Chupi – two of the hottest fashionistas in Ireland.

Chupi, 25, has something in common with Kate Moss – she has her own Top Shop label, while Jessie is one of the country’s best fashion journalists and editor of iVenus.com.

It’s not surprising that Jessie and Chupi share some common interests – they are cousins!

Every week they are going to be giving us the skinny on shop fashion, street fashion and all sorts of other insidery tips and observations.

Chupi spends much of her week in Top Shop in St Stephen's Green where she has her own label, Chupi. She was scouted by the British retailer when she was just 21.

And Jessie, spends her days talking to the top people in the business and sampling their latest products - lucky her - and analysing them.

You see, Jessie and Chupi. They just know stuff. And they’re going to share it with us. You can email them at jessiechupi@ireland.com
