I've often thought about popping along to a public launch like that, you know when Jimmy Choo launched his collection for H&M? Yep well that video has cured ANY desires I might have in that direction. The moral of the tale is do not get between a woman and her size jeans.

Ever wished you could own a dress worn by Kate Moss, Erin O’Connor or Scarlett Johansson? Well now you can!

So reads the blurb on Topshop.com. At Christmas Topshop had the very neat idea of asking all it's cool mates to donate a dress, then we (the great unwashed) could hire one of their fabulous gowns for the night. It rocked! Now they have the dresses up for auction.

I love this Freida Pinto's Burberry yellow silk dress, how cool would it be for a summer wedding? You can check it out here. It's expected to make around £350 so I'll have to lust from afar.

I also love love love Peaches Geldof's Dolce & Gabanna rose-print dress, it's nice to see Peaches all dressed up. It's estimated to make only £150.

The auction takes place this morning at 10.30am but fear not, I'm not torturing you as you can bid online at www.invaluable.com. Check out the goodies at http://www.kerrytaylorauctions.com/. The auction is in aid of Help the Aged so really you're not being self indulgent but merely charitable.

Balls and ballgowns are very much on my mind, very dear friends are getting married in a couple of weeks and have gone all black tie meaning I have to find a fabulous-incredible-amazing dress to wear. No pressure then.

So when I got an email saying "have you heard of The Vintage Ball? Sophie and I will be dressing as can-can girls and painting mustaches on people!" My little ears pricked up.

It's a great idea: Put on a fancy frock (or sailor uniform!) cough up €20 and rock your socks off to the fabulously names Swinging Blue Cats.

There is also a whole bunch of entertainment planned including these ^ folks. Sounds more fun than a night trying to dance to music that sounds like one long beep.

But can someone tell me how I can look like her in um about 23 days?
